Name: Sorush

Aliases: Ghost; Shadow

Appearance: About 6 foot-ish. Black hair, black eyes, pale completion... he hasn't seen sunlight in a long time. His hair is somewhat long, falls to about his shoulders and is slightly curly. He keeps a very unkempt appearance and doesn't look all together healthy. He wears baggy clothes, all in black, cargo pants, a long sleeved t shirt, a black trench coat (usually) when outside, combat boots. Has his ears pierced and probably a lot more too. He does have a small tattoo on the back of his neck that is strange sort of symbols. There's also a tattoo on his left wrist (inside of his wrist) that some assume he received when imprisoned (he's been to prison).

Status: Human... his status... wanted by the government... a lot.

Abilities: He's good with weapons but his true ability lies in the machine, he owns the net. He has implants that let him connect directly to the computer, any computer. He runs the communications for the Black Zone of NYC, nothing gets by him, he has all the toys too. If you need any communication device (including a computer) he's the one to talk to. He is nearly a mastermind with a computer, he creates viruses and is an amazing hacker.

Special Abilities: Appears that he has none. However, it's rumored around the Zones that he actually does possess some magical abilities... some spells... which he does. Low level defensive spells. The biggest and most noticeable thing is his implants, used to connect to computers. He can fully connect to any computer, has implants in his optical nerves, one at the base of his neck that runs into his brain, one on each hand, forearm. The one on his neck actually goes into his central nervous system allowing full movement in computers, bringing the physical into the virtual, as well as allowing him to 'run' the computer through thought. He sees what the computer sees, thinks what it thinks (and vise versa), feels through it... everything.

Known Facts: He is very much wanted by the government. They've caught him a couple of times but never managed to keep a hold of him, he's escaped. He's known as a hacker, purposefully undermining the governments attempts to control all that people see and hear... he runs the pirate media, basically. The government has nicknamed him Ghost, short for Ghost in the Machine, because they believe he is lurking around in their system somewhere... at all times... they just can't catch him when he is. He adopted the nickname once he found out about it, finding it an amusing nickname. Shadow was not a name the government gave him, but since his aliases are known to them he is sometimes called that by the police mainly. Shadow was given to him early on in his career because he was Lucas' and Mica's shadow... always standing behind them, saying nothing.
He's also known as a junkie. The net is a fix for him, as he can literally become part of the machine once hooked up to it. But when not hooked up, he needs a fix, usually morphine. It's rumored that is because there's so much going on in his head it's the only way he can keep from going insane... or at least completely insane, that too much time connected to computers has driven him rather mad. This has made him a bit anti social and hard to deal with at times.
He also seems addicted to sex, this is more rumor than anything else... or is it?

Personality: As mentioned before, he's anti social, however, he tends to be a creature of extremes, rather known for his mood swings, he'll jump through a number of different emotions rather quickly, chatty but sarcastic, charmingly sweet, violent, sullen and introspect, you never know where he's going to be at a given moment. He doesn't respond well to things that are not a computer. He tends to remain rather quiet and observant around people he's not familiar with, but has a commanding personality, if it isn't just a bit psychotic and unpredictable. He's highly susceptible to addictive substances.
For someone so erratic, he communicates well, he is the guy to go to when you want to get a message out to the masses, he has the resources and the ability to be word things well. He is known to be a good messenger boy as no one will ever track down where the message originated if you don't want it to be known and he is fast and effective. His interpersonal skills lack though, he's blunt and let's you know if he doesn't like you. He is not diplomatic.

Weaknesses: Mostly addiction. His addictive personality makes him need to be on a fix. Which, as stated before, he can get when hooked up to the computer. He's also vulnerable when "hooked in" because he can't control the outside world. He can compensate for that to an extent by controlling outside elements the computer might be controlling, but still, he very vulnerable.

Other: He doesn't seem to have any family, most believe him to be orphaned from the war (he's about the right age to have lost his parents to the war) but no one knows for sure on that. He does, however, call Mica, Lucas, Uri, and Doc his brothers, though it's obvious they are not blood related at all... except for Lucas, some believe they might actually be brothers. He is very protective of them.
He's the guy to go to for just about anything Lucas can't get you. Lucas won't deal with any communication devices, that's Sorush's domain. And though Lucas will deal in drugs, if you want to make sure you get the good stuff, you go to Sorush. Lucas' might not be safe (as safe as drugs can get).
No one is sure how he got to the position he is in. Outside of the Zone it's believed he's the one that runs the Zones, but that isn't true, he doesn't run them, no one person does, but he is one of the ones that do. Despite his young appearance he has a lot of control and pull in the world.
